Sinekatalog’s take

Luigi Comencini follows a Tuscan girl, played by Claudia Cardinale, who waits for a partisan lover to leave prison in the years after the war. A warm, rustic drama with Cardinale radiant, it is gentler than many neorealist-era films.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
