Sinekatalog’s take
A sprawling Soviet-style war biopic that mixes archival battle footage with staged scenes, giving it the weight of a history lesson. It is solemn, official in tone and long on reverence, best suited to viewers with a real appetite for Eastern Front history.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
