Plot

The film begins with a series of horizontally running ocean tide waves, sometimes with mountains in the background, hand-painted patterns, sometimes step-printed hand-painting, abstractions composed of distorted (jammed) TV shapes in shades of blue with occasional red, refractions of light within the camera lens, sometimes mixed with reflections of water.

Sinekatalog’s take

Waves, hand-painted textures and distorted video shapes flow in blue and red in Brakhage's late abstract work. Hypnotic and sensory, it is for patient viewers rather than anyone expecting narrative.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
