Sinekatalog’s take

Andrei Konchalovsky's quiet, semi-documentary film follows a postman in a remote northern Russian village, using local non-actors. Beautiful and slow, it won Venice's Silver Lion in a tender, funny and melancholy portrait of rural life.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
