Plot
In this color-tinted short, we first see a close-up of a red rose, perfectly formed. Then, we see the rose held by a young woman who is wearing a bright yellow dress.
Sinekatalog’s take
A one-shot delight from cinema's infancy: a perfect rose, then a young woman holding it, all tinted by hand in vivid color. There is no story, just the pleasure of an image. A lovely little relic for anyone curious about early film aesthetics.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
