Plot

For Lieutenant Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell and his friend and co-pilot Nick 'Goose' Bradshaw, being accepted into an elite training school for fighter pilots is a dream come true. But a tragedy, as well as personal demons, will threaten Pete's dreams of becoming an ace pilot.

Sinekatalog’s take

Slick, sun-drenched and unapologetically macho, with aerial sequences that remain the main attraction. The romance and rivalry are thin, but the montages and swagger have an undeniable pull. Pure eighties adrenaline, best enjoyed without any irony.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
