Sinekatalog’s take
Luis Buñuel's Toledo drama of a young woman trapped by her guardian-lover is bitter, ironic and elegant. Catherine Deneuve is chilling, and Fernando Rey's decaying patriarch is superb.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
