Sinekatalog’s take
A musician spends New Year's Day trying to help a friend pay the rent in a brief, jazz-tinged story. Charles Burnett captures community, pride and improvisation in a small urban moment. Warm, gentle and a good short for fans of humane, low-key cinema.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
