Sinekatalog’s take
Alexander Kluge's film follows a young East German Jewish woman who flees to the West and struggles to fit in, drifting into theft and affairs. Alexandra Kluge is quietly outstanding in a fragmented, ironic New German Cinema founding work.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
