Plot
Schoolboys in a rigid boarding school stage a rebellion on the day of the school ceremony. It was banned in France for more than a decade.
Sinekatalog’s take
Jean Vigo's lyrical, anarchic boarding-school rebellion was banned for years. Playful and poetic, with its slow-motion pillow fight, it influenced Truffaut and Lindsay Anderson and remains joyously subversive.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
