Sinekatalog’s take
A lecherous old man alone at an inn is tormented by phantoms in a Méliès comedy full of vanishing tricks and playful scares. The effects are charming handwork, and the humor rests on a simple, cheeky premise. Fun for those curious about early trick cinema.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
