Plot

Story of a small boy is forced to move out of Prague during World War 2 to a small village of Slavonice where he meets the rest of his family. He needs to make new friends and get used to a new life which is immensely different from what this city boy was used to.

Sinekatalog’s take

A Czech family comedy-drama about a Prague boy sent to a village during wartime. Gentle, nostalgic and humane, with a child's view of hardship. A warm pick for fans of period coming-of-age stories.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
