Plot
Donald Duck and Jose Carioca, both literally blue, stumble across the Cafe do Samba, whose proprietor is determined to cheer them up with samba music. After they get their color back, they land in a giant brandy snifter, where a live-action woman is playing the tune on an organ.
Sinekatalog’s take
Two glum cartoon friends are cheered up by samba music and drift into a fantastical musical interlude. The colours and rhythm are the main delights. A lively little piece for fans of mid-century studio animation.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
