Plot
The Devil's Playground is a fascinating and moving documentary about a little-known aspect of Amish life. Amish are not permitted to join the church until their late teens, and have to do so of their own volition.
Sinekatalog’s take
Amish teenagers get a taste of the outside world before choosing whether to stay. The film watches them with curiosity and little judgment, and the stakes feel real. A thoughtful, humane documentary about faith, freedom and family pressure.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
