Sinekatalog’s take
Akira Kurosawa's first colour film follows the poor residents of a shanty-town with warmth and eccentricity. Vivid and humane, with the dreamer boy driving his imaginary tram, it is an underrated, touching portrait.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
