Sinekatalog’s take

Akira Kurosawa's humanist drama follows a young doctor learning from a stern clinic director. Toshiro Mifune is magnificent, and this long, compassionate film is among Kurosawa's most moving.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
