Plot

Kidnapped and cheated out of his inheritance, young David Balfour falls in with a Jacobite adventurer, Alan Breck Stewart. Falsely accused of murder, they must flee across the Highlands, evading the redcoats.

Sinekatalog’s take

A cheated young heir teams with a rebellious Highland adventurer and flees across Scotland with soldiers on their tail. It's a brisk, handsome Disney-era adaptation with a boy's-own spirit. Good family adventure for those who enjoy classic literary swashbucklers.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
