Sinekatalog’s take
Jean Delannoy's retelling of Tristan and Isolde, scripted by Cocteau, sets the legend in modern France with Jean Marais and Madeleine Sologne. Dreamy, romantic and visually elegant, it was a huge hit in wartime France.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
