Plot
Mondovino (in Italian: World of Wine) is a documentary film on the impact of globalization on the world's different wine regions written and directed by American film maker Jonathan Nossiter. It was nominated for the Palme d'Or at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival and a César Award.
Sinekatalog’s take
A sprawling documentary visit to vineyards and tasting rooms worldwide, questioning whether globalization is flattening wine's character. Opinionated and chatty, it favours conversation and provocation. A good watch for wine lovers who enjoy a polemic with their glass.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
