Plot

Chronicles the powerful friendship between two young Black teenagers navigating the harrowing trials of reform school together in Florida.

Sinekatalog’s take

An ambitious film about two Black teenagers in a segregated Florida reform school, told largely through their points of view. Ross's immersive camera makes memory and violence feel close, and the form is as important as the story. Demanding, original and deeply affecting.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
