Plot
In post-9/11 New York City, an eclectic group of citizens find their lives entangled, personally, romantically, and sexually, at Shortbus, an underground Brooklyn salon infamous for its blend of art, music, politics, and carnality.
Sinekatalog’s take
A frank, free-spirited ensemble about New Yorkers seeking intimacy through an underground salon. It is playful, sexually explicit and sincerely curious about loneliness, though its looseness can feel self-indulgent. Not for everyone, but a bold portrait of connection for open-minded adults.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
