Plot
Teenagers Nathan Leopold Jr. and Richard Loeb share a dangerous sexual bond and an amoral outlook on life. They spend afternoons breaking into storefronts and engaging in petty crimes, until the calculating Nathan ups the ante by kidnapping, and murdering, a young boy.
Sinekatalog’s take
A stylised, black-and-white retelling of a notorious crime that blends period detail with modern attitude. It is cool, provocative and intentionally anachronistic. Challenging but fascinating for fans of new queer cinema.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
