Sinekatalog’s take
Youssef Chahine's drama is set after Egypt's 1967 defeat, as a journalist investigating corruption confronts national disillusion. Ambitious, angry and politically bold, it is a key film about Nasser-era trauma and public mood.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
