Plot
Eight years after the devastating tsunami, the wounds it left in Japan have still not healed. In her touching search for answers, Haru sets out on a long, eventful journey to her home town, where she lost her family in the flood.
Sinekatalog’s take
A hushed, searching journey home by a young woman who lost her family to a disaster. Its gentle encounters and atmosphere of mourning feel honest rather than manipulative. Moving for patient viewers of quiet Japanese humanist cinema.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
