Plot

Liane, 19 years old, daring and fiery, lives with her mother and little sister under the dusty sun of Fréjus in the South of France. Obsessed with beauty and the need to become “someone”, she sees reality TV as her opportunity to be loved...

Sinekatalog’s take

A portrait of a teenager desperate for reality-TV fame, set in a sun-baked French town. It is vivid and unsparing about image culture, though its heroine can be hard to like. A fierce, sharp debut-style drama worth a look.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
