Plot

The arrival of a newborn girl causes the gradual disintegration of the Cairn family; particularly for 9-year-old Joshua, an eccentric boy whose proper upbringing and refined tastes both take a sinister turn.

Sinekatalog’s take

A slow-burn domestic chiller in which a polished, strange child unsettles the household just by being quietly himself. The restraint is effective, and the dread builds through small details. Recommended for those who prefer creeping unease to jump scares.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
