Plot

A young nurse is kidnapped by a group of violent teens who escape from a mental hospital and take her on the road trip from hell. Pursued by an equally deranged lawman out for revenge, one of the teens is destined for tragedy and horrors that will destroy his mind, moulding him into a monster named Leatherface.

Sinekatalog’s take

This origin story for a horror icon trades the raw grime of the original for a road movie of runaway delinquents and a vengeful lawman. It is mean and bloody but rarely frightening, and the guessing game over who becomes the monster is its one real hook. Strictly for dedicated slasher completists.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
