Plot

In 1892 Saint Petersburg, when her explorer grandfather's failure to return from his latest expedition brings dishonour to her aristocratic family, a resilient teenager runs away to follow in his trail in search of his famed ship.

Sinekatalog’s take

A determined teenage aristocrat sets out across the polar ice to find her missing explorer grandfather. The hand-drawn animation uses bold flat color and sweeping white landscapes to striking effect. A beautiful, adventurous film that suits both older children and adults.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
