Plot
An unusual visit to a large, empty apartment. But is it empty or not? Maybe a family has lived there or is going to live there. Maybe a young girl is going to escape from there. Maybe some of the old-timers who lived there never left. The walls themselves tell the stories of the time passing by.
Sinekatalog’s take
Varda wanders through a vast empty apartment and lets its walls whisper of families who may have lived, loved or escaped there. It is a short, dreamy meditation on space and memory, light on plot and rich in suggestion. A small treat for fans of her playful essay style.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
