Plot

At the sea shore, a goat, a child, and a naked man. This is a photograph taken in 1954 by Agnès Varda. The goat was dead, the child was named Ulysses, and the man was naked. Starting from this frozen image, the film explores the real and the imaginary.

Sinekatalog’s take

A short essay that starts from one old photograph and unwinds into memory, imagination and what images conceal. Varda is playful and probing at once. A small gem for anyone who enjoys film as personal reflection.Sinekatalog’s own editorial review – not a user or critic quote.
